Graduated from Warsaw University, law and administration faculty, in 2002, where she defended with honors her Master Thesis in housing cooperative law, under the academic supervision of prof. dr hab. Krzysztof Pietrzykowski.
She pursued a judge’s court apprenticeship form 2003 to 2006 in the Regional Court for Warsaw-Praga in Warsaw.
She is a member of the District Bar of Legal Counsels in Warsaw since 2006. She has started her career as a lawyer in 2001, as legal counsel in 2007.
She has been holding executive posts in legal offices since 2009, since April 2014. as a managing director in P-Law Legal Advisors.
Monika Piwońska is specialized in real estate law, especially in developer investment process and in managing and leasing of commercial properties. She is also a specialist in company law, including acquisitions, mergers and issues related to capital groups reorganizations.
She represents clients in numerous of legal proceedings. She has wide experience in opining of unlawful contractual clauses, including representing clients in proceedings before the Office of Competition and Consumer Protection, Court of Competition and Consumer Protection in cases relating to practices violating collective consumer interests and before the Court of Competition and Consumer Protection in cases relating to recognition provisions of standard agreement as unlawful.
She speaks English and Spanish.
